Imperial Russia, 1917: In the uninhabitable Siberian wilderness, in the wake of the October Revolution, a group of passengers survives the malicious derailment of a Trans-Siberian train. They must endure in a harsh ice-clad climate until rescue arrives, facing many dangers, their own weaknesses, and, above all, their own prejudice. People from different social classes have to unite and make decisions that often go against their beliefs. If they survive and at what cost is up to the player.

In Help Will Come Tomorrow the basic concepts of survival are straightforward enough: camp, heat, water, but the greater challenge will be dealing with prejudice and class conflicts between the game’s characters. The game suffers from not explaining some of the actions well enough to the player, and of course the small writing that I’ve already mentioned doesn’t help in that area. Long load times as the game starts up are also a problem when your waiting to get into the gameplay. Be prepared to have all your camp survivors die, as it’s not an easy game. I’m even wondering if it’s possible to survive, as I’ve never managed to get the camp to survive until help comes. If you’re new to the genre I would look elsewhere for a easier game to start with.

Help Will Come Tomorrow is a solid survival game, but it's too simple. This doesn't mean it's easy, on the contrary; it can even be unfair at times. However, it is a well-written game, and its peculiar setting makes it a worthwhile rarity.

Help Will Come Tomorrow may as well be called ‘Enjoyment Has Come Today’. Not only did I find myself playing it constantly, but I also found, dare I say, an addiction to it? It has a lot to offer the survival genre, engrossing character stories with a strong narrative, and a challenging difficulty that’ll give a great sense of progression. Whether you’re a fan of this genre or not, Help Will Come Tomorrow is sure to convert you (if not) and keep you captivated by the Siberian tundra.

Wordle’s WordleBot has come up with a new opening word that’s supposed to give you the best possible start to your games.

The new recommended word is the result of an upgrade to WordleBot’s algorithm announced by the game’s owner, The New York Times (NYT), on Wednesday, August 17.

Hasbro has announced it is collaborating with The New York Times to create a Wordle: The Party Game, the board game adaptation of the uber-popular mobile word game. The gameplay is the same, but it's being brought to players "in an all new way that's perfect for game night with family and friends," according to a press release.

In this version of Wordle, one player is designated as the Wordle Host in each round and writes down the secret five-letter word. The other players have to compete against each other to guess the word in six tries or less, with the winner being the player that scores the fewest points by the end of the game.

Spotify announced on Tuesday that it has acquired Heardle, the music trivia game version of Wordle.

According to a press release, the music streaming platform said that purchasing Heardle -- the cost of which Spotify declined to disclose -- will help improve the discoverability of songs old and new. In other words, it will help players rediscover their old favorite hits and introduce them to new artists, as well as link them to their music on Spotify whether they guessed the songs correctly or not.

What is the child tax credit and additional child tax credit?

The child tax credit is a tax break families can receive if they have qualifying children . The amount a family can receive is up to $2,000 per child, but it's only partially refundable. That means if not all is applied to any taxes you owe to lower your tax bill, you may not receive the additional money left over.

The refundable portion is called the additional child tax credit, and this year the refundable amount is $1,600. 

When to expect your child tax credit refund

The IRS told CNET that most child tax credit and earned income tax credit refunds would be available in bank accounts or on debit cards by Feb. 27 for taxpayers who have filed and chose  direct deposit  -- and there are no other issues with their return. 

The delay, according to the IRS, is because the agency cannot issue refunds involving the additional child tax credit (and the earned income tax credit) before mid-February. The agency, by law , is required to use the extra time to prevent fraudulent refunds.
