My school essay for class 3.

‘My School’ is one of the most commonly asked essay topics by teachers of Class 3 CBSE. The English teacher often gives this topic to make the students aware of the people, things, and places within the school. It makes the students alert and even helps them to realize the relationship they keep at the foremost prestigious education center of their lives.

Moreover, the topic cultivates the students’ creative writing skills and gives them a chance to express their opinion about the teachers and school environment. It also ensures that the students become aware of the names of the teacher and the subjects they teach.

As a result, students start identifying or recognizing their tutors, even outside school, and never forget to pay their respects. Although the topic is simple for most class three students, they still need to create meaningful and correlated sentences to express their thoughts. A few tips can help your child achieve this goal and get good grades.

Tips to Write a Great ‘My School Essay for Class 3’ Students :-

Identifying the essay’s word limit is a great method of finishing the ‘My School’ essay on time, reviewing it completely, correcting the errors, and rechecking other answers to get good grades. The intro paragraph in this blog before the subheadline is 162 words.

So, you get the idea that more than half of the intro would cover 100 words, and reducing a line would cover 150 words. Teaching kids to identify the word limit is possible on pen and paper by judging sentence differences, i.e., the number of extra sentences in a 150-word essay versus a 100-word essay.

Sometimes the teacher might even ask students to write ten lines about the school. So, class three students need to choose the things they need to mention the most. It could include prayer, games, classes, teachers, the principal, friends, team names, best period, sightseeing, picnics, food, and canteen/cafeteria.

Tone of Voice

Most class three students would mention details about the school that they notice. However, it should not seem like a statement related to the previous and the upcoming sentence.

For example, ‘My school’s name is ___. It is situated in __, a beautiful place known for its ___. I arrive at school by taking a bus from a stop near my home and have to get up early to reach on time to take the bus. It takes one hour from the bus stop to reach my class, and I get to meet my friend, Ravi, Ranjan, and Niranjan, in my class.’

In this above example, the student mentions details about the school’s location, the location’s importance, the mode of transportation, daily activities before boarding the bus, and more. The student also expresses a happy tone of voice after meeting his friends compared to the rest of the routine.

Focus on a Class, Subject, and Activity

Class 3 students can write a great ‘My School’ essay by focusing on their favorite class, subject, teacher, and activities. Students often forget to mention the morning prayer, a vital activity of the day; mentioning it can make them realize it is important.

Moreover, most class three students have a favorite class, like crafts, acting, or games. They can mention the place to attend it and the reasons for liking it. Parents and teachers like to know more about students’ strengths to guide them actively.

Some students might even love the scenic route where the school is situated and could mention the view of the mountains across the school building or the bus. They can share about the window with the best view from their class.

‘ My School Essay for Class 3′ Teaches a Lot of Things:-

A class three student would learn to appreciate the things and people around the school after writing a few lines. Besides this, the student would improve sentence formation and develop an ability to define important aspects of the educational center.

The correlation between sentences would also help enhance the child’s cognitive ability. Moreover, the student would pay attention to things that often get ignored and could become even more humble.

Education is necessary for improving everyone’s life; thus, we all should know the importance of education. It enables us and prepares us in every aspect of life. The education system is still weak in the undeveloped regions of the country instead of lots of the educational awareness programs run by the government. People living in such areas are very poor and spend their whole day arranging only some basic needs. However, everyone needs a broad effort to make a proper education system possible in every corner of the country.

It needs active participation by everyone to enhance the level of the education system in the country. The authority of schools and colleges should set up some chief objectives of the education to stimulate their students’ interest and curiosity. The fee structure should also be discussed to a broad level as because of the high fee structure, most of the students become unable to precede their education which brings disparity in every aspect of life among people. Education is the first and foremost right of human beings, so everyone should get equality in education.

Essay on Education in 400 words

Education is the most important factor which plays a great role in the development of an individual and a country. Now a day, it has become a vital factor for the future brightness of the new generations of any society. The government has made education compulsory for all children aged 5 to 15. Education influences the lives of everyone in positive ways and teaches us to tackle any big or small problems in life. Even after a big awareness in the society towards the necessity of education for everyone, the percentage of education is still not the same in different areas of the country.

People living in the backward areas are not getting the proper benefits of a good education as they lack money and other resources. However, the government has planned and implemented new and effective strategies to resolve the problems in such areas. Education improves the mental status and changes the way of thinking of a person. It brings confidence and helps to convert the thinking into action to go ahead and get success and experience.

Without education, life becomes aimless and tough. So we should understand the importance of education and its involvement in our daily lives. We should encourage education in the backward areas by letting them know the benefits of education. Disabled and poor people are equally required and have equal rights to get educated like rich and common people to develop globally. We should try our best to get higher education and make a good education accessible for everyone globally, particularly the poor and disabled.

Some people are completely uneducated and live very painful life because of a lack of knowledge and skill. Some people are educated but do not have enough skills to earn money for their daily routine just because of the lack of a proper education system in the backward areas. Thus we should try to have equal opportunities and a good education system for everyone, whether in rich or poor regions. A country cannot grow and develop without its citizens’ individual growth and development. Thus the development of any country depends hugely on the education standard available to its citizens. A good education system must have common goals in every country to provide suitable and proper learning to its citizens.

Anti-Critical-Race-Theory Laws Are Slowing Down. Here Are 3 Things to Know

essay on education for class 3

  • Share article

Is it the beginning of the end of “anti-critical race theory” legislation?

Starting in 2021, state lawmakers introduced a wave of such proposals, many modeled off a 2020 executive order signed by then-President Trump forbidding federal employees from receiving training on a number of “divisive concepts,” including the idea that any race was inherently superior to another, or that individuals should bear guilt for things that happened in the past. Some of these bills explicitly name-checked critical race theory—an academic framework for analyzing structural racism in law and policy.

Education Week recently updated its ongoing tracker of these laws , and concluded the pace of newly introduced legislation has slowed. The organization has counted just 10 bills that would affect K-12 education so far in 2024, of which two have passed.

Analysts from the National Conference of State Legislatures who track trends in state-level proposals said their data generally matched EdWeek’s, and that momentum on this topic seems to have flagged.

But other issues around what schools can teach or discuss have replaced the interest in “divisive concepts” and critical race theory, including “parents’ rights” bills allowing parents to withdraw their children from lessons they object to; bills that specifically take aim at gender identity or students’ use of pronouns; and bills that aim to restrict library materials and other curriculum content. (EdWeek’s bill tracker does not look at those topics.)

Some analysts see the slowdown on critical race theory legislation as a sign of fatigue with this element of the ongoing battle over who should shape curriculum.

“There’s only 50 states and only a subset that are sort of safe Republican ones where politicians can vote for these without worrying about being held politically accountable, so it can’t keep going forever,” noted Jeffrey Henig, a professor of political science and education at Teachers College, Columbia University. “You can only signal-call so long, so it’s not that surprising that once people have done their pass and proven themselves to the true believers in their largely solid, gerrymandered, state-legislated districts, things would run out of steam in some way.”

It’s also possible, he said, that the wave of headlines about book restrictions and attacks on librarians have brought some of these issues home locally in ways that have made some constituents uncomfortable.

Here are three things to know about where states stand on these anti-critical race theory laws.

1. Action seems concentrated in a handful of states

So far, no state that had not already considered such a proposal in prior years has seen a lawmaker introduce one in the 2024 legislative cycle. Overall, 44 states have considered legislation or regulations to curb how issues of race and gender can be taught since 2021, and 18 of them have enacted policy.

Most of the 2024 legislation has been introduced in states where previous proposals have failed to pass. Missouri lawmakers, for example, have introduced four bills this year that would variously prohibit the teaching of certain “divisive concepts” related to gender and race, prohibit the teaching of The New York Times’ 1619 Project—an exploration of slavery’s role in shaping American policy—and prohibit teachers from requiring students to create projects that compel students to lobby or engage in activism on specific policies or social issues, among other things. The state had some 20 bills on these same topics in 2023, none of which passed.

Two new laws have passed so far in 2024, in Alabama and Utah—expanding restrictions those states already had on the books (see No. 3, below).

2. Already-passed laws are here to stay—for now

The 2024 session also brought an early test of these laws’ durability.

In New Hampshire, Democrats attempted to strike statutory language added as part of a 2021 budget law that forbids teachers from teaching about gender and race in specific ways. But on March 14, lawmakers voted 192-183, largely along party lines, to indefinitely postpone the bill, effectively killing it.

Attempts to undo the laws could come through the courts. Lawsuits from various combinations of parents, teachers, students, teachers’ unions, and civil rights organizations have been filed in at least six states— Arizona , Arkansas, Florida, Oklahoma , New Hampshire, and Tennessee. The lawsuits generally allege that the laws are impermissibly vague and violate students’ and teachers’ rights to free speech or due process.

The latest lawsuit, filed just this week by two students and their teacher in Little Rock, Ark., takes aim at that state’s executive order and legislation that forbid “teaching that would indoctrinate students with ideologies,” including critical race theory. State officials had cited those rules when determining that the newly developed AP African American Studies course would not count for credit .

3. A few new laws suggest a pivot toward targeting DEI programs

Two newer laws signed this year suggest that diversity, equity, and inclusion, or DEI, programs could be the latest target.

These anti-DEI laws gained traction after the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling last year that bans affirmative action in college admissions, and appear to be aimed mainly at higher education institutions. But several would also prohibit DEI efforts in K-12 schools and districts.

Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey signed a law that prohibits public universities and schools from sponsoring any diversity, equity, and inclusion program or maintaining a DEI office, or from requiring students or faculty to attend training or affirm the “divisive concepts” the state already had forbidden from teaching.

Similarly, Utah Gov. Spencer Cox in January signed a law aimed mainly at public colleges and universities but also covers other state institutions, including public schools. It prohibits districts from training staff or students on “discriminatory practices,” including any that rely on personal identity characteristics as a marker of moral character, promote resentment, or assert that an individual is inherently privileged or oppressed, among other things. And it prohibits districts from establishing an office, division, or employee who coordinates activities related to those practices.

Here, too, Henig sees the possibility of overreach.

“People’s attitudes about Harvard and Columbia and Penn as these elite, distanced institutions are different if it starts playing out at Michigan State and your local community college,” he said. “I think there’s some of that same friction when it comes closer to home.”

CBSE Class 12th exams: Review by students of Ludhiana

Jaswinder Kaur, Business Studies teacher at Gurunanak Public School (GNPS), said that the exam was well balanced and students could complete it on time. "Though the paper was a bit lengthy, students came out of the examination hall happy as it was their last exam", she added.

Noorpreet Kaur, Business Studies student, said apart from case studies, rest of the paper was easy.

Another student, Kulbir Singh, who expects more than 72 marks in the exam said, "The exam was a little lengthy but easy to solve and many of the questions were direct."

Roopam Gupta, Head of the Commerce Department said that the paper was expected and of moderate level.

CBSE Class 12th Business Studies paper review: Well balanced paper, says teacher

In perfect synch with the prescribed CBSE syllabus, the Business Studies paper covered all the topics and sub-topics of the syllabus, ensuring that the students who had studied comprehensively were duly rewarded and felt satisfied.

The paper, at first glance, appears to be very simple. However, when one dives deep into it, a student might feel over-confident, and the possibility of making careless mistakes cannot be overlooked.

When we teachers guide the students about how they should write the answers, we also tell them that keeping a calm and focused mind will reap rich dividends and either way, the student must not lose focus.

The MCQs in the question paper were balanced and posed only a little challenge to a well-prepared student. The “Assertion and Reasoning” based questions were also interesting and easy to crack.

Despite simplicity being the hallmark of today’s paper, it did test students on their skills of creative and analytical thinking.

The case studies in the paper were from a vast range of topics from Finance to Consumer protection and from Principles of management to Marketing.

If simplicity was the beauty of the paper, the well-balanced coverage of all the topics was the cherry on the pie.

How To Write An Essay On Myself For Class 3 Kids

' src=

Key Points to Remember When Writing an Essay on ‘Myself’ for Class 3

10-line essay on ‘myself’ for kids, short paragraph on ‘myself’ for class 3 kids, long essay on ‘myself’ in english for grade 3.

  • What Will Your Third Grader Learn From This Essay?

Young kids often struggle with expressing themselves, especially while writing! One of the best ways can be to ask them to write about themselves, such as an essay about ‘myself’. To improve their communication skills, they are taught essay writing. Essay writing tasks inculcate in them the habit of expressing their thoughts clearly and in a more structured format. When they write an essay, they learn to put their thoughts into words, think in detail about the given topic, and improve their writing skills. One of the best and most common topics to introduce them to essay writing is writing on ‘Myself’. For a third-grader, writing about oneself is easier than writing about other things. They know the basics about themselves, their likes and dislikes, their hobbies and other things. Once they experience the joy of expressing themselves fluidly, they will want to write about other things too. So start with an essay about myself for class 3 to set the essay writing guidelines for them and then give them other topics to write about.

Essay writing is an important part of the third-grade curriculum to inculcate the habit of good communication skills. An essay on ‘myself’ is the easiest essay topic for young kids. Some kids can express themselves clearly and fluidly when writing ‘myself’ essays. However, most kids struggle with what to write. Here are some key points to help the kids to write the best essay on themselves:

  • Introduce yourself first.
  • Write your age.
  • Introduce your parents, siblings, and other members of the family.
  • Mention the name of your school and the class you are studying in.
  • Write about your favorite subjects and/or teachers.
  • Talk about the sports you play at school.
  • Introduce your friends.
  • Talk about the things you do with your friends.
  • Mention your hobbies, likes, and dislikes (books, foods, places, etc) and pastimes.
  • Write about your pets, if you have any.

For a third-grader, essay writing is not so easy. Writing about themselves provides them with the opportunity to express themselves freely and easily. A ‘myself’ essay improves their creative writing and confidence to write essays. Here are 10 lines to help kids write the best my self essay for class 3:

  • My name is Rahul Arora and I am 8 years old.
  • My father’s name is Sushil Arora and my mother’s name is Ruchi Arora.
  • I have an elder brother, Prashant Arora, and a younger sister, Shweta Arora.
  • My brother is 10 years old and my sister is 4 years old.
  • I study in Modern Cambridge School in Class 3.
  • My favourite subject is mathematics.
  • Subhash is my best friend and we study in the same class.
  • I play a lot of games with him.
  • In the evening, I play football with my colony friends.
  • I love to read comics and watch cartoons.

When teaching young kids to write essays, it is easy to start with short paragraphs first to get them interested in essay writing. Writing a short paragraph on themselves is easier for third graders than a long one. Here is a sample of a short essay about myself:

My name is Rahul Arora. I am 8 years old and live in the capital city of India, New Delhi. There are five people in my family, my parents, two siblings, and me. My father’s name is Sushil Arora and my mother’s name is Ruchi Arora. My elder brother, Prashant Arora is 10 years old. My younger sister, Shweta Arora is 4 years old. I study in Modern Cambridge School in class 3. I study many subjects in my school and mathematics is my favourite subject. I also play many games at school with my friends. My best friend, Subhash also studies in my class. We go to the school together on the same school bus. In the evening, I play football with my friends in the colony playground. Sometimes we also play cricket and other games. I have two hobbies, reading comic books and watching cartoons. In my free time, I also like to draw cartoons.

Once the grade three kids learn to write short paragraphs on themselves , they can move on to write a long essay. Through short paragraphs, they have learned to express their thoughts, form paragraphs in a sequential manner, and write fluidly. So now writing a long essay on Myself for third-grade kids is easy. Here is a sample Myself essay on:

My name is Rahul Arora and I live in New Delhi. I am 8 years old and study in Modern Cambridge School in class 3. My father’s name is Sushil Arora and he is a businessman. My mother’s name is Ruchi Arora and she works as a manager in a big company. I have two siblings. My elder brother, Prashant Arora studies in class 5 and he is 10 years old. My younger sister, Shweta Arora is 4 years old and studies in kinder garden.

I have many friends but Subhash is my best friend. He lives near my house and studies in my class. We go to school together on the same school bus. In school, we study many subjects but mathematics is my favourite subject and English is Subhash’s favourite subject. During our recess and sports period, we play many games. In the evening, after coming from school we go to the colony playground. There we play football and cricket with our other friends. On weekends, we go to swimming classes.

I am fond of reading comics and watching cartoons. Doraemon is my favourite cartoon character. My parents keep gifting me comic books on my birthday and other occasions. I have collected many carton books. In my free time, I also like to draw cartoons. My elder brother is good at drawing and he keeps teaching me how to draw and paint.

I am fond of eating pasta. My mother, on Sundays and other holidays, makes a lot of pasta for me. She is a good cook. I don’t like to eat green vegetables but my parents tell us that eating green vegetables is good for our health. So, we eat green vegetables and salads every day. My father also likes to cook and makes many delicious dishes for us. I love to help my parents with their cooking. I can make sandwiches and cut vegetables. When I grow up I aspire to become a great chef.

What Will Your Third Grader Learn From This Essay?

Through a composition on the self, third-grade kids learn to express themselves. While writing a simple essay about myself, third graders improve their vocabulary, sentence making, writing/paragraph making skills, and grammar. Writing the ‘Myself’ essay is the first step of the creative development of a third-grader. It teaches young kids to fluidly express their thoughts into words and structure paragraphs. As kids learn to write sentences, along with their creativity, their intelligence quotient also improves. They gain clarity of thoughts and improve their concentration.

An essay on ‘Myself’ is one of the earliest essays written by a third-grader. Writing about oneself teaches young kids to explore their creativity and express themselves freely. It is the easiest way to interest young kids in creative writing!
