A mother’s love for her child is like nothing else in the world. It knows no law, no pity, it dares all things and crushes down remorselessly all that stand in its path is me. I consider myself one of the luckiest people on earth, due to the fact I was fortunate enough to enjoy a mother’s love and nevertheless due to this day. The worst aspect that can ever show up to a man or woman is now not to journey what it feels to be loved with the aid of his/her mother. A mother’s love can by no means be expressed with words, it can only be felt, and it is the most stunning aspect on earth. If God’s love is at the highest peak, then a mother’s love for her infant is slightly underneath it, if not next to it. My mother is the most vital character in my life. My mom and I have this natural bond together that I’m sure to exist between moms and their children. I cannot explain it but when she is around, I feel safe. My mom is sincere and trustworthy. Never once in my life have, I ever heard my mother tell a lie, without a reason as to why she said aa lie. She always says the truth no matter what the situation is. The worst thing to my mother is seeing us sad and upset; she would do anything in her power to see us happy and full of joy.

Another great trait of my mother is that she is very friendly and welcoming. People are continually attracted to her nice vibe and jovial nature. She does not fake to smile to try to impress people for the wrong reasons. If she likes you, she will go out of her way to make you feel special. She is very slow to anger however, even if she is angered, she will try to control her tongue. When we fight, she’s tired and we get into a fight and sometimes she can’t control her words. After our fight, we reconciled, and she says sorry that she said those mean things. She always reminds us, words hurt people. Words are like feathers that have been blown away by the wind, you can’t get it back once they flew away. My mom is very generous. She extends an assisting hand to every person who needs it, she is the type that will use the right hand to assist you with the left hand knowing. She does not help people publicly for the whole world to see, she does it from the heart, without expecting something in return. Coming from a humble background, she is familiar with what it feels like to go hungry ad she will do whatever it helps everyone, consisting of strangers. She is a very strong woman, ever since my dad died, she must work two jobs to help our family here and in the Philippines. She was really depressed and wanted to kill herself because my dad left her. It was a really hard time for her, but she realized that my brother and I are waiting for her, so she worked hard to get us here in Saudi Arabia.

My mom is a person you can rely on, if she stays, she will do something, be rest assured that she is going to do it. There are no shortcuts to her when she promises something. She loves the truth no matter how disheartening it may be. The thing that I did in my body was really disheartening to her because losing your kid, hurt more than losing some other relative. She is also a great counselor. She is a good listener and will lend you her ear if you need it, without judging you. For example, I was fighting with my mom because I always use my phone, she suddenly grabbed my arm with fresh wounds then is when she saw my scars, she asked where it’s from, I told her that I have cut myself because I feel worthless and useless. She told me with crying eyes, “Why would you do something like that? I brought you to this world to grow and not to end your life. Mary Anne, your brother and I will always be here. I don’t want to see those scars. I love you to too much, I can’t handle my only girl to die, I already lost your dad I can’t afford to lose you too. So, please stop this. We will help you.” She changed the way that I look at life. I relied on her and now I’m getting better and think about the positive things than the negative side. This is the main reason she is my best friend. Prayer is part and parcel of her life and she still prays today. My mom is born and raised a catholic, my mom ensures that Sunday devotion was mandatory for all of us. She would pray in the morning, at dinner time and before she slept. She is hardworking. My mom didn’t come from a wealthy family. She had to work her way up, through sheer will and hard work. She stressed the importance of sticking together as a family. She hated when we fought like siblings and she would discipline us thoroughly, even if it broke her heart. Most importantly, she ensures the whole family gets together every holiday because it’s very important.

Therefore, I will forever be grateful to God for giving me such a wonderful mother. She is my role model and I will mold my life to be like hers. In my eyes, she is the embodiment of perfect motherhood and she is the standard that I will forever strive to achieve. She may be harsh on words, but she always helped us to think about the words that we are going to say before saying it. She is a good counselor and the person that I can rely on. She taught me that I should always pay back what she did to me because she’s the one who changed my life in a good way. She advised me to look at life from another perspective. She taught me to always pay their kindness back. She also taught me to always rely on her and on God because they will always be here. She taught me to work harder to have a peaceful life in the future. I am proud that I am her daughter.

Are You Really Supposed to Be Best Friends With Your Mom?

The mother-daughter relationship may be one of the most complex that exists in all of human relations—both more intimate and also, possibly, more fraught with difficulty than one with a husband or wife, even.

essay on best friend mother

Relationships between mothers and daughters come in many a form, as varied as the array of human personalities that exist within those moms and their beloved, if sometimes frustrating, kids. In fact, the mother-daughter relationship may be one of the most complex that exists in all of human relations, both more intimate but also at times more fraught with difficulty than one with a husband or wife. Those who know you best can let you down the most, and who knows you better—sometimes most annoyingly so—than your own mom?  Paige Williams' New York magazine article on the extremely harmonious mom-kid duo of Julie and Samantha Bilinkas sheds light on one such relationship, which appears at different points as something we should feel jealous of and something we should be concerned about. The title of the article speaks for itself: " My Mom Is my BFF ."

How are Julie (mom) and Samantha (daughter) BFFs, exactly?

  • They drink together, or, rather, if Samantha is offered a cocktail, she gives it to her mom.
  • People think they're sisters, or possibly, when they travel in Italy, lovers.
  • They sit at the bar together, which makes Samantha, 19, feel grown-up (which she likes) and, presumably, Julie, 50, feel young, which she probably likes as well.
  • They wear matching T-shirts (but not on the same day).
  • They talk about who's hotter.
  • They tweet at each other .
  • They act like "pals," not mom-and-daughter: "Samantha refrained from the typical teenage indicators of mother-induced misery. No mortified slumping, no glassy stare, no snapping, no sighing, no episodic glaring, no thumbing out one cell-phone SOS after another," writes Williams. "And Julie? When Samantha spoke, Julie listened until her daughter had completed her thought. Which I assumed happened only in dreams and completely unrealistic movies."

Even though Julie and Samantha assure Williams that they do fight, over typical teen/mom things like room-cleaning, Williams is amazed witnessing that rarest of things, a unicorn of familial relationships—"a fantasy come to life." She shares her own mom experience, in which certain things (discussions of sex, for example) are taboo, in which clothes belong purely to one person or the other, in which older generations are hopeless about the technologies of the new. Parenting was different then, Williams hypothesizes: Now, with shows like the new VH1 reality show Mama Drama , the parenting norm is BFF-dom. Is this good? Bad? True? What does it even mean?

Like a mother-daughter relationship, it is complicated .

I am not BFFs with my mom. I love my mom, yes; we have what anyone would call a good relationship. But we don't share clothes (when I wanted to borrow her stuff in high school, she quashed that quickly; instead, I borrowed my dad's giant sweaters). We don't talk daily, or hourly, as do some adult women and their moms. We grew up very differently, and to some extent, perhaps we don't always see eye to eye about where the other has come from. We each have others who we do consider "best friends." But that doesn't mean that we would fail to be supportive, even to put each other above nearly anyone else. It also doesn't mean that we don't speak our minds. Like "best friends," the people who love you even in your worst times and continue to love you after you've gotten through them, we don't worry that we have to please or pander to each other. Like best friends, we are generally honest, but we also know some discussions aren't worth getting into. And some are, even if it means you fight. My mom is not my best friend. She's something more rare, something you typically only get one of: My mom.

I'm a bit older than Samantha, though, and this "new wave" of parenting may have started after my formative years. The friendship, and I'd call it that, if not "best friendship," between my mom and me is one between two grown-ups, even if we do happen to be mom and daughter. What's different about Samantha and Julie is that they're doing these "friend" things at a younger age—and they live in the same city, the same home, even. When I was 19 I probably wouldn't have talked about boys or drank willingly in bars with only my mom;  we were more protective of our individual space. When I am home now, my mom and I don't go out on the town; we sit and talk at the dinner table over wine. My mom doesn't text, much less tweet. (She does, however, read blogs, even if she despises Facebook. I appreciate that.) Williams posits that the moms who came of age in the sexual revolution, during Vietnam, during the women's rights movement, experienced a norm that diverged from domestic and societal norms. They were different, could be different, as women, and so they could be different as parents. Instead of continuing in the hallowed tradition of setting an example for daughters to rebel against, maybe moms could just be friends with their daughters. Maybe? According to Williams :

Friendship became a kind of parenting strategy: By treating Child as Adult, parents hoped that the kid would actually become an adult, and a good one. The happy outcome for some: mothers and daughters who didn’t have to wait until middle or old age to actually enjoy each other’s company. To maintain peer-ness, there came a coinciding pressure to stay young, technologically supported by the capacity to stay young. Moms have never had at their disposal so many resources—so much paraphernalia—allowing them to shrink the generation gap. If they want, they can practically turn themselves back into teenagers.

Friendship as a method for adults to seem young and kids to seem grown-up; it's positively innovative. Williams points out that this "perfect relationship" is still not exactly common, a reality highlighted by the fact that Samantha and Julie's relationship still appears, if not entirely too good to be true, something so unusual as to be gawked at in an article.

Think of the other "friend-moms" we see in the outside world: The "trying-too-hard" mom depicted by Amy Poehler in Mean Girls , the mom who wants to be one of the girls so bad it's just cringeworthy (and inappropriate). Or Gilmore Girls ' Lorelai-and-Rory-Gilmore pairing of mom and daughter who seem to exist in a generally symbiotic über-reality. There's the mom, someone has one, someone likely to work in your very own office, whom that daughter speaks to daily, gets advice from, shops with, with whom she confides in every matter, things you can't imagine talking about with your own mom. Did these moms really fail to exist before now, or have they always been there, if not talked about in this way? Maybe some moms and daughters, like some family members, just get along better than others.

Williams argues that the mom-daughter BFF phenomenon couldn't have happened without an overall societal and marketing focus on youth—even as older moms are infinitely more common and acceptable, moms don't want to seem old. (A corollary for thought: Is it possible that moms having children a bit older has led to the phenomenon as well? Maybe with older parenting comes both maturity and appreciation, and a loosening of a certain kind of traditional expectations.) Maybe it's not weird to be best friends with your mom (even though some are dubious and see this as a reflection of family dysfunction or even "spawning to socialize"—ew). Certainly, it's different to be friends with your grown-up daughter than it is to say that your toddler is your BFF, and worry about what will happen when she finds pals her own age, as one woman Williams quotes wrote on Babble.com.

Then there are people like Julie and Samantha, who seem to be friends because they have similar interests, because they spent time together and in doing so realized they have fun together. Maybe they're friends because, goodness gracious, they just like each other, barring the occasional dispute that comes from hanging out a lot. But that's kind of what friendship is about, no matter who the players are, no? As Williams writes, "By rejecting the traditional traps, she and Julie have sort of beat the system by waging a new form of rebellion, one that’s not between parent and child but rather forged between them, against some standardized definition of family life. They’ve created their own dynamic, whether others understand it or not."

As with any friendship, they understand it, which is what actually matters.

My best friend's mom and I supported each other through depression. Now, I count her as one of my closest friends.

  • My best friend's mom was kind and supportive of me from the beginning.
  • During a depressive phase, she reached out to me when she heard we'd gone through similar things.
  • We were there for each other through healing and she's become one of my closest friends.

Insider Today

The first time I met my best friend Kesia's mom, Kate, she impressed me with her gentle disposition, as well as her amazing cooking. I had come to stay at her house for a New Year's party in 2012 with Kesia and a few others, and Kate welcomed us all with open arms.

She seemed like the perfect mom: friendly, open, soft-spoken, and fun. I liked her, but at 24, I was focused on my own burgeoning life. I hadn't really considered the possibility that I could become friends with my own parents, let alone the parents of my friends .

As the years went by, we crossed paths at weddings and other big events, as well as a few small trips I made through their hometown while traveling to visit my family, including one trip with my newborn daughter in 2014. When I moved to Berlin a few years later with my husband and kids, my connections in New Zealand faded somewhat, except for a treasured few.

When I was going through a hard time, Kate and I reconnected

Berlin was good, but challenging. I missed my friends and family and struggled to raise two kids away from home. When I told Kesia that I was struggling with bad depression, she suggested Kate and I connect, because we were going through the same thing. I agreed it was a good idea, but talking about mental health struggles on the phone felt somehow overwhelming, so I suggested we get in touch by email first.

Kate reached out to me and was compassionate to my concerns. In the beginning, I was mostly worried about how my mental health struggles could affect my role as a mother. I saw Kate as an excellent parent, and it was reassuring to hear how she had managed to navigate her own struggles and raise such wonderful children.

Related stories

Initially, I thought that by reconnecting, Kate would be able to support me; I had no idea that I would also be able to support her. She and I began emailing each more and more, and discovered that our backgrounds were more similar than we had initially thought. Both of us had experienced difficult childhoods and were in the midst of processing long-ago traumas. It was not just me who was struggling; we both had our ups and downs.

I didn't feel judged by her

Our emails were the first time I had ever had contact with someone else who felt and expressed the same feelings of emptiness, inadequacy, shame, and confusion that I did. At times, she wrote to me that she had lost all hope of ever getting better. When I saw the depths of her sadness, and felt the depths of my own, that strange connection in the darkness helped us both to find a way out. We were both already working with therapists , but it was refreshing to have someone to talk to whose job was not to "help," but was simply there to empathize and connect.

Exploring our feelings and our histories in our emails, I began to feel significantly less alone. We spoke with each other about our therapeutic progress, as well as different modalities and approaches that we had tried, including cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, trauma-sensitive yoga, medications, and group therapy. Her experiences gave me new ideas that I experimented with in my own healing.

We were honest about what we were going through

We also discussed the challenges we experienced in relationships and our anxieties about how other people perceived us. One of the most valuable parts of our relationship was that we were honest with each other: even the darkest, murkiest feelings and experiences bubbled to the surface and came out in our emails.

Most importantly, neither of us ran away, rejected the other, or judged. We just listened. Communicating only through email made it easier: one step removed from the direct gaze of another, our deep secrets could be shared and processed with extra space, triggering neither of us into overwhelm.

Later, I suggested we connect on WhatsApp, and we transitioned into a different phase in our relationship. At first, I worried that changing even something so small as our medium of communication would mess up our connection. Beautifully, it didn't. We sent voice messages and began calling each other. When I went through hard times, she spoke to me about wishing she could protect me, and wanting to mother me through my pains. My relationship with her felt like a safe place, and became even more beautiful when she allowed me to care for her in her pain and vulnerability, too.

Through healing together, we became close friends

The task of healing and processing trauma is not easy. But when we talked openly about our feelings and approaches that had worked for us, I felt like I had a buddy along for the sometimes-difficult ride. As we both slowly got better, we started sharing more photos — me, of the wintery scenes of Berlin, and her, of the sunny vistas back in New Zealand. The depressive phases for both of us got shorter and faded into the background. These days, we recommend books and recipes to each other and catch up on normal life.

Kate and I rarely talk about our trauma histories or our depression anymore: though we haven't discussed it directly, to a certain extent the bulk of the work feels done, finished, in the past. Of course things still come up here and there, and we are both continual works in progress. While the darkest chapters seem to be behind us, I know if things go sideways again, that each of us is always there for the other. The accompaniment we offered to each other in a difficult and vulnerable process remains a treasured part of our friendship and has formed a solid foundation of trust and care that I think will last us for life.

The word Mother is a very pious word and whosoever is called by the name ‘Mother’ is a person who sacrifices and prioritizes her children over anything. Her whole Life revolves around the well-being of her child, their growth, their development, and their welfare. A Mother not just only gives birth to a child but she takes a Lifelong commitment to take care of her child.

My life would not have been beautiful without my mother. Through ups and downs and in every step of life, she holds my hand and supports and encourages me. No matter what happens, my mother is always there beside me- cheering me up and motivating me. All mothers in the world are great and so, we should not celebrate their contribution in our life on Mother's Day only, which is 10th May, but every day of the year and throughout their life. It is because no gesture of appreciation is ever enough when it comes to acknowledging our mother. Her selfless love and sacrifice are the precious of all gifts under the sun.

An Essay on Mothers

My Mother- The Multi-Tasker

Mothers play an important role in everyone’s Life since she acts as a Protector, a Friend, and Guide for Life. A Mother does everything selflessly for her child and without any condition. There the love of a Mother is known to be Unconditional.

The way she manages my family with utter dedication and devotion is inspiring. The relationship with my mother is something very hard to explain. I do not merely love her because she is my mother and we should respect our elders. I love her because she is my world and when I was not able to speak and communicate she took care of me, time and time again. The best part about my mother is that even though I have grown older she knows and understands my needs without me speaking a word. I learned kindness and love from her. She taught me no matter how bad a situation might get, only love can improve it in the most effective way. She has been the rock-solid pillar of my life and in every big moment of my life.

My Mother has constantly supported me throughout my entire Life, whenever I am in a danger or in a situation where I am stuck, she has always been there for me, protected me, and guided me. She has been my favorite teacher who has taught me about Life and the beauty of it. She is the essence of truthfulness, sincerity, and lots of love. The only person who holds our family together is my Mother. She cares for everyone in the house and for the ones in need outside the house as well. One of the most beautiful things that I learned from my mother is empathy. Be it strangers or animals, she treats everyone equally which makes her more amazing. Moreover, she taught me to not hurt anyone on purpose and help people whenever possible. Not only this but also she taught me to not differentiate among rich or poor, beautiful or ugly. She says that it is the heart of a person that makes them beautiful and rich and not temporary possessions.

My Mother is my constant source of encouragement, be it in Life or in school for studies. She has always inspired me to do other activities along with my studies. She has taught me to enjoy every aspect of Life and live Life to the fullest. She wants me to do those things in Life as well which she could not do or pursue. She is my backbone for everything. My mother has inspired me through her hard work and sacrifices. She taught me once never to get disheartened by failure and to keep challenging the failure with our honest effort. And one day, failure will pave the path to our success. The strength of facing hurdles and overcoming it is what I have learned from her.

Mothers have never-ending qualities even though they do not get much credit for their goodness and hard work. She binds everyone in the family and plays a very important part in everyone’s Life. Even when I do something wrong in Life, she scolds me but at the same time, she makes me understand and helps me to get out of the situation. She forgives me after every mistake but ensures that I’ve realized my mistake first. She is the most selfless human being I have ever encountered in my life till now.

My mother knows me in and out. Even if I am lying she catches me immediately and I start feeling guilty. We should never lie to our parents and especially, to our mother. They simply do not deserve it. Mothers spend a significant part of their lives making us capable of standing on our own feet. Sometimes, they have to sacrifice their own career and happiness for that. So a mother's trust should never be destroyed. And when it comes to my mother, I would not change a bit about her. She is the best chef, reading partner, and an independent working woman who can balance almost everything with utmost perfection. Even her imperfection makes me proud of her. Without my mother, I would never become a better human being. My Mother is my biggest strength and makes me, even more, stronger when I go through all my ups and downs in life. The best thing she possesses is her patience. The patience she has is difficult for anyone to have. She deals with every situation in the family, in my life, or even in her Life with so much patience because of the reason the family is bonded so strongly. It is the responsibility of every child to appreciate their Mothers and give them the love and respect that Mothers deserve.

Essay on My Best Friend for Students and Children

500+ words essay on my best friend.

Friendship is one of the greatest blessings that not everyone is lucky enough to have. We meet a lot of people in the journey of life but there are only a few who leave a mark on us. My best friend is one such person who has been able to make a positive impact on my life. We have been a part of each other’s lives for the longest time and our friendship is still developing. She has been with me through all the thicks and thins. Most importantly, I feel extremely fortunate to have someone as a best friend in my life. In this essay on my best friend, I will tell you about how we became friends and about her best qualities.

Essay on my best friend

Our Friendship

Our friendship started when my best friend came in as a new admission to our class. Both of us were hesitant to talk to each other at first, but gradually we developed a bond. I remember the first time my best friend tried to talk to me; I rolled my eyes because I thought there was no use and we wouldn’t hit it off. However, to my surprise, we became best friends by the end of the session year.

We learned so many things about each other and found out that our taste in music and fashion was so similar. Since then, there was no stopping us. We spent all our time together and our friendship became the talk of the class. We used to help each other out in studies and visited each other’s homes as well. We made sure to have lunch together on Sundays. We also used to watch movies and cartoons together.

On our summer break, we even went to summer camp together and made a lot of memories. Once during the summer holidays, she also accompanied me to my maternal grandparents’ home. We had a fabulous time there. Moreover, we even invented our own handshake which only both of us knew. Through this bond, I learned that family doesn’t end with blood because my best friend was no less than my family. Friendship is one relationship that you choose, unlike all other relationships.

Qualities of My Best Friend

I feel one of the main reasons why I formed such a bond with my best friend was because of the qualities she possesses. Her courage always inspired me to raise my voice against injustice as she always stood up to her bullies. She is also one of the smartest minds in class who doesn’t only excel academically but also in life. I have never seen a dancer as good as my best friend, the accolades she has won are proof of her talent.

Above all, I feel the quality that appeals to me the most is her compassion . Whether it’s towards humans or animals, she always keeps the same approach. For instance, there was an injured stray dog that was wailing in pain, my best friend did not only get him treated but she also adopted him.

Similarly, she saw a poor old woman on the streets one day and she only had money for her lunch. My best friend did not hesitate once before giving all of it to the poor lady. That incident made me respect her even more and inspired me to help the underprivileged more often.

My Best Friend Essay – 500+ Words for Class 11,12 Students

Introduction of my best friend essay.

Not everyone is blessed enough to have a best friend in life . The journey of life is filled with many people, but only a few leave an impression on us. And my best friend is the only one who leaves a deep impression on my life. For the longest time, we’ve been part of each other’s lives, and our friendship continues to grow.

Revealing Some Facts

Now, I’m revealing the most interesting fact about my best friend. The truth is my best friend is not only my friend but also my real brother. Yes, you read it right, my twin brother is my best friend. From our birth to this age, we’re always been together. Our mother gives us birth with a difference of 2 minutes. So according to this, my best friend is older than me.

Bond With My Best Friend

One of the greatest blessings of my life was growing up with a twin brother. It’s not only that I’ve someone who exactly looks like me, but also my best friend. My twin brother and I have a bond of unconditional love. From the day we’re born, our understanding is very good for each other.

Since my twin brother is my best friend, we’re together by birth. Our bond has been so real and strong since childhood. We always did things together, from sleeping too recently in college. We have the same interests and vision regarding anything.

Our Interest In Sports

As we’ve common interests regarding anything. But in sports we don’t have common interests, I like cricket, and he likes football. So the only time we’re not together is when we’re practising on the grounds. My best friend goes to the football academy and I go to the cricket academy.

Although, I’ve no interest in football when my best friend plays the match. I go to watch his match and support him as an audience. Likewise, my best friend comes to support my cricket match. But skillswise, he’s a great football player. And he’s very famous in the town for his next-level football skills.

Our Purpose In Life

As everyone has a purpose in life regarding his/her career. Our purpose and plan of life are to become doctors and want to serve humanity and our country. Because we want to help the people who live in privileged areas of our country.

The reason to help these people is, in today’s modern world where we’ve many modern treatments for diseases. But in backward areas of our country, people are dying of many minor diseases, because there are very few doctors to treat them. We think this is the best way to serve humanity and our country as well.

Conclusion of My Best Friend Essay

In conclusion, I want to say that I’m too lucky to experience the joy of a twin brother as a best friend. Having a best friend is a blessing, but having a twin brother as a best friend is the greatest blessing. There is nothing more special than the relationship I have with my twin brother.

She taught me to love everyone, not only humans but also animals. I remember when we were passing through a road and a cat was hitten by a car. My best friend said to me that, we’ve to help this injured cat. So we rescued her and took her to an animal hospital for her treatment.

My Career Path

My best friend also helps me in choosing my career path. When I share my feelings about the career of my life, she listens to me carefully and suggests multiple career paths. Her suggestions are purely based on her experiences and knowledge.

So we mutually decided that I will become a soldier to serve my homeland. The reason to become a soldier is to protect our country from our enemies. She is also very brave, as she knows borders are very dangerous and ready to send me to the borders of the country.

Our Same Interests

Although my best friend and I have a major age difference, but we’ve many similar interests. Like we both love to watch horror movies, especially at night. Usually, our weekends are spent watching movies late at night. I can’t even feel that I’ve another best friend.

Many things we’re doing together, but I never cross my line in terms of respect. We always give personal space to each other and respect each other’s privacy. Thus, we’re best friends with mutual understanding.

My Companion in Hard Times

As I tell you, my mother is my best friend. She’s always there to correct me and make sure to save me from any kind of trouble. She’s like a saviour in every hard time of my life. I remember when I failed class 5 and I came home with a sad face. So my mother motivates me and strengthens me in those bad times.

She also taught me how to respect a woman and comfort her with my presence. It’s not wrong if I say, my mother is not only my best friend, but a mentor, companion, leader, and so on. She always has an eye on my activities to make sure that I don’t do anything wrong.

No doubt, the mother is a great blessing in our lives. But when she becomes your best friend is an enormous blessing in one’s life. I’m so impressed with her qualities like her kindness, loyalty, and so on. I can also say that my mother is the best mom in the world.

Not only the best mom but a best friend, a leader, a lover, a protector, in short all-in-one. She works for me 27/7, without rest, and often we don’t even realise this. I also want to say to my readers, please love your mother and make her your best friend too. She deserves everything because she gives her whole life to you.

Essay on My Mother 500 words

My mother has had the greatest influence on me throughout my life. Through her, I have learned a lot of things about how to traverse the various facets of life. By seeing the kind of person she was while I grew up, I have modeled the kind of woman I want to become as well. My mother is my guide, idol, and source of inspiration in life, and I can say it with great pride.

My mother is the one person whom I can completely trust. She is the main reason for my progress and development since she works relentlessly. She never makes any distinctions within the family and provides our entire family with equal and undivided devotion and love.

Her devotion to her family is unwavering and complete. She puts her own needs and desires aside for the sake of her family. My mother has been my greatest source of inspiration and has played an important role in my spiritual, emotional, and intellectual development.

Mothers are an Inspiration

A mother contains several characteristics that make her the embodiment of love and dedication. She is forgiving and understands us when we make mistakes. She takes severe measures to fix our mistakes and ensures that we are aware of our responsibilities. From sunrise to night, day in and day out, a mother works tirelessly to fulfill all of our dreams.

A mother is someone who consoles you in your time of need, makes sacrifices, and makes every attempt to provide a comfortable life for her child. A mother is a selfless individual who, like the sun, chases away all darkness and shines the light of happiness and love onto her family.

Motivation is a state of mind that enables us to successfully complete any project or task. It is a form of a natural environment that aids our physical and social growth. We know that we can attain any goal, even in the most difficult circumstances, because of inspiration coming from a person or an event.

For the growth of our abilities, we seek encouragement from other sources, such as a popular figure or a special person near us who encourages us whether we can achieve the objective even in difficult situations.

As a result, we are capable of completing this task. Numerous people are inspired by legendary or historical figures, and then many people are inspired by famous people or their parents. It makes no difference who your source of inspiration is or how much you are inspired by its ideas and practices in order to achieve your goal.

Mothers are a constant source of inspiration and motivation for children to become good individuals as they grow older. They instill in them a sense of responsibility, care and affection for others, and a sense of resilience that can hardly be found anywhere else.

Every person must have some sense of creativity in his life from which he can draw inspiration in order to attain his life objectives and progress. A teacher might be an inspiration in someone’s life, a successful person can be an inspiration in someone else’s, but in my life, my mother is my biggest motivation. She is the individual who has motivated me to attain my life’s objectives and to keep moving forward.

My mother is also an admiration to me because, while most individuals work to gain popularity and a name in society, a mother never feels that. All she wants for her children is for them to achieve in life. She is not motivated by self-interest in her work. This is why I regard my mother to be a human manifestation of God.

My Mother is My Best Friend

My mother is my teacher, advisor, and greatest friend, and she plays many vital roles in my life. It works to instill confidence in me when I’m having an issue. Whatever I am today is solely due to my mother’s presence in my life, as she was present for both my successes and failures. I couldn’t picture my life without her, which is why I consider her my closest buddy.

Despite the many roles a woman plays in her life, the bond she shares with her mother is one of the purest relationships in the world. The bond between a mother and her child is indescribable. The mother is also the one who gives birth to her child and raises her. However, a mother’s love for her children never fades, and she is more concerned about their well-being than her own.

To safeguard her child, a mother is willing to face the worst disasters. A mother may shoulder all of the burdens alone, but she will not allow her offspring to be exposed to any form of heat. For these reasons, the mother is regarded as a manifestation of God on Earth, leading to the common proverb, “God cannot exist everywhere, therefore he made mothers.”

A Mother’s Strength

Although my mother may not physically be the strongest person, she nevertheless meets every challenge in her life and that of her family. She is a continual source of inspiration who reminds me to never give up in the face of adversity.

Above all, my mother is a major source of motivation for me, since she encourages me to enhance my abilities, academics, and talents. She inspires me to try again, to never give up, and work hard until I succeed. The way she traverses through the innumerable obstacles she faces in life is a constant reminder of the strength of a woman and how we can face any adversity that comes our way.

During difficult times, my mom is a lifesaver. Despite the fact that she chastises and corrects me, she is the only person capable of solving the problem, whether it is school or life-related. She is my instructor and guide, who shows me the way and steers me through the toughest moments.

Above all, even at the darkest of moments, she never leaves my side. She is an excellent teacher, a rigorous parent, a loyal friend, and a delightful companionship. Not only my mother, but every mother is an expression of God who devotes her entire life to her family and is deserving of much respect and admiration.

A mother possesses both inherent and learned attributes that identify her job as a mother. The key trait of a mother is responsibilities, which comes with motherhood. Regardless of age or repercussions, my mother displays unselfish love and affection.

She is my greatest source of strength and support, and she never fails to inspire and drive us through all of life’s ups and downs. Mothers can understand and empathize with their children. My mother’s most striking characteristic is her tremendous level of acceptance and tolerance. Despite the fact that she is dealing with several issues, she remains calm and patient.

Everyone has at least a single friend who is more than just a friend to them. Getting a friend is common, but getting a true friend is very rare and a bit special. It is like a big achievement for people to get a trustworthy and lifelong best friend. I also had a best friend in my life too since childhood. His name is Ganaraj, and his mother is Telugu. He is very valuable to me, and I always value his friendship as I value my parents. He is like my family, as a brother from another mother. Whenever I need his help and support, my best friend is there for me to hold me. We both live in the precious moment and create memories that will stay with me forever. My Best Friend Essay 500 Words

My best friend’s name is Siddhart Jadhav. We have been friends since class 7th A in Alfred Nobel High School. We both studied in the same school in childhood but not in the same class as our sections are different. Later that time, all the students from all the sections are sorted according to the previous academics’ percentages and grades and separated into four different sections. Due to this separation, I met Siddhart in the 7th A, and we became friends at that time. Later, time goes by, and our friendship bond becomes stronger, and we become best friends with each other and spend most of our time together in school, tuition, and extra classes. We also sit on the same bench in the classroom.

Our likes and dislikes are also common, and we also love to dance and sing. In every annual gathering and other function that is held in our school, we both participate and give our best performances. We never wanted to win the competitions, our intention was to enjoy the gathering. Some of our school teachers don’t like our togetherness and friendship, but some of them loved and always blessed our strong bonded friendship to stay longer and longer. Siddharth and I always talked in the running classroom, and most of the time, our teacher also punished both of us by standing outside the classroom. We always tried to irritate the lecturer in the chemistry lectures by asking tons of doubts and questions. We eat tiffin boxes sitting on the last benches.

Apart from this naughtiness, Siddharth is very punctual, and he is never late for coming to school and attending classes. He always completes his homework at a given time and being with him, I also start studying very well and completing my homework on time. He keeps his books and copies very clean. His writing is very nice and encourages me to write cleanly and clearly for better understanding. My parents also compliment my friend that being with him, I also become responsible and a good student.

Siddharth and I are both excellent football players and athletes. When we both start playing the football game, the opponent team never wins. Our sports teacher always motivates us and tells us that we will become good football players one day. My parents also know Siddharth very much, and they like his pleasant behavior. Feel free when Siddharth and I stay together, whether for playing games, video games, study, or for going out to have fun with other classmates. Siddharth is my best friend, my first friend. He is the one who offers me help in my studies when I need it, supports me and always shows love to me, defends me, and stands by my side in any situation no matter what.

In academics, my best friend, Siddharth, is chosen to be awarded the best student of the year in the 10th class. He is one of the brilliant students of our school and also won many of the competitions that were held in school. He is like a well-wisher, and I always enjoyed his company. He, too, feels secure and relieved by spending time with me as well. He is like a problem-solving friend to me. I never wanted to lose him in my life.

Heart Failure Patient Was Told Pregnancy Wasn't an Option. Then Best Friend Offered to Be Her Surrogate (Exclusive)

“She's given us something that words can never, ever describe," Natalie Dart, whose daughter turns 1 this month, tells PEOPLE of friend Kalan Collard

Natalie Dart

  • When Natalie Dart and her husband wanted to start a family, her physician warned her that due to her health, pregnancy could be life-threatening
  • For Dart's best friend, volunteering to be the couple's surrogate was an easy decision
  • "There aren't many people in my life that I would do it for, but Natalie is my person," Kalan Collard tells PEOPLE

After Natalie Dart was first diagnosed with heart failure, she could never have imagined being the mother of a healthy — and sassy — toddler. Now, thanks to her best friend since childhood, who stepped up to be her surrogate, her baby is about to turn 1.

“Growing up together, we joked that if we couldn't have kids, we would carry each other's,” says Dart, now a 35-year-old nurse living in Indianapolis. “And she wasn't kidding.”

"There aren't many people in my life that I would do it for," adds Collard, "but Natalie is my person.”

On the morning of Dec. 5, 2011, when she was still a student at Eastern Illinois University, Dart experienced trouble breathing and vomited blood in her apartment. Collard, who was staying over at Dart’s place, immediately took her friend to the hospital.

“The impending doom feeling of flash pulmonary edema is horrific,” Dart tells PEOPLE. “I would never wish it upon someone."

Dart, then 22, was told she had heart failure — and after being transferred to a different hospital, she was diagnosed with ischemic cardiomyopathy , which occurs when the heart fails to pump blood properly. When doctors there couldn’t figure out how to fix the issue, they recommended that she visit the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.

There, Dr. Eileen Hsich put Dart on a drug regimen to lower her heart rate, which Dart says, "gave my body the time and energy it needed to heal."

Years later, Natalie married her high school sweetheart in 2014. But when she visited Hsich the following year to get her approval to start trying to have a baby, the physician told her that physically carrying a baby with her heart condition could endanger her life.

"[She] would have had a high risk of death if she attempted pregnancy," Hsich tells PEOPLE, noting that medication to help her condition could have also resulted in birth defects.

Although it was a tough pill to swallow, the couple did their diligence with examining all their options.

"We explored adoption, fostering and foster to adoption options," she says. They later settled on gestational surrogacy , in which the embryo from the intended parents is transferred to the uterus of the carrier.

For Collard, now 34, it was a no-brainer to volunteer to be the couple's surrogate.

“I don't even think I thought about it," Collard says. "I didn't even have my own children yet, but I knew I wanted to do it for her.”

Still, the journey to becoming their surrogate ended up taking a number of years, during which time Collard welcomed two children of her own — and Dart experienced another bout of heart failure. Fortunately, thanks to a game-changing medication, her heart is now doing better than ever.

After an earlier attempt, the transfer was successfully carried out in August 2022. And on April 19, 2023, baby Monroe was born at 6 lbs, 13 oz.

“To watch your child be born is something that I will never forget," says Dart. "I was the stoic one, and my husband was the one crying. It's a huge moment, getting to see her sweet little face.”

Almost a year after her birth, Monroe is doing well, Dart says. “I could not be more thrilled that she's here with us," she says, joking, "Each day I'm just like, ‘Man, the clutter in my house is worth it.’ ”

“It’s pretty amazing given what she went through,” adds her doctor. “Natalie is a special person. She is a very caring person, so [it's] not surprising she has amazing friends who love her and would do something this special for her to enable her to enjoy her dreams."

Collard, who lives in Monticello, Indiana, says that her kids — two stepdaughters, 19 and 11, as well as a 6-year-old son and a 5-year-old daughter — adore Monroe to pieces.

“Monroe doesn't know it, but she has built-in best friends,” Collard says.

Dart gets a little emotional when asked about Collard’s selfless gesture to become her surrogate.

“She's given us something that words can never, ever describe," Dart says. "She gave us our world. Monroe is our world, and Kalan gave us the opportunity to bring her here. The gift that she was able to give us is indescribable. And I wish and pray that every person in this world could have a friend like her. I'm just counting my blessings that I am the one that got to have her.”
