What would be your dream vacation and why?

My dream vacation would be a tour around the world. I would like to spend time visiting places that have had an impact on history and our way of life today. I’d also like to visit places that have interesting histories, places, etc. For example, I’d like to visit Rome, Egypt and Machu Picchu. –Spencer Sonada

My dream vacation would be to go to Venice because the city is built on water and I always thought it looked so magical or a place I could escape and forget about all my worries. I think it would be nice to go somewhere that is completely different than Hawai’i and Venice would be 100 times different in scenery compared to O‘ahu, it would be so nice to see a different world than mine. I grew up in Hawai‘i and have left twice to the mainland (San Francisco and New York). It was amazing to see all the different places and taste the different foods as well as meeting new people. Another reason why I would like to go to Venice is I always thought it would be fun or romantic to go on one of the Venetian rowing boats around the town. Also I would like to visit all the shops, attractions, restaurants, spas and relax in a fancy hotel to top the day. –Nicole Akiona

My dream vacation would be going to Monte Carlo in France because it’s been my dream place ever since I was in high school. It’s a beautiful place to visit and I want to make it happen someday. The weather is great most of the year between March and September. The beaches are okay, not the best in the world, but can be acceptable. Just by watching movies, it’s a beautiful setting. I want to make my visit there around summer because they get pretty busy around that time of the year. –Melvin Jack

My dream vacation would be a summer cross country trip in a motor home, starting from the east coast of the United States and working my way to the west coast by attending music festivals and concerts along the way. It would start in the northeast in Boston and New York by checking out the Statue of Liberty and maybe catch a Red Sox-Yankee game then cruising down the coast to see the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. and checking out the monuments. Then head west through Nashville, Tennessee, for the Bon-A-Roo music festival and seeing the Grand Ole Opry House. Progressing through the middle of the country attending music festivals at famous music venues in New Orleans and Red Rocks in Colorado and ending up in California with a trip to the giant redwoods in Humboldt to see Reggae on the River. It would be a zig-zag across the entire country experiencing and enjoying some of the best musical groups and acts in the United States. –Ian Jenss

My dream vacation would be to go to the Bahamas. When I go there, I would love to stay at a five-star hotel with full service and spa. I would love to do very exciting things such as swimming with sharks, go on jet skis, go snorkeling and eat very exotic foods. This is my dream vacation because I live in Hawai‘i. This is paradise to many people, but because I live here I am used to it, so itʻs not that exciting to me. The closest thing to paradise would be the Bahamas. The water is beautiful and so blue and clear. I would love to wake up to waves crashing against the sand and the sight of ocean when I wake up. The Bahamas will always be my dream vacation. –Bradina Anae Anae

Although I have been traveling back to this place constantly, my dream vacation is still American Samoa because it is where my heart is. Every time I return to American Samoa, excitement is the first thing I feel. I am immensely proud that I have had and still have the opportunity to go back to my roots and build a stronger bond with my culture and family each and every time. A dream vacation for me is being with my loved ones, having a great time, cracking jokes and simply cherishing every moment I get with them. Time is valuable. –Salamasina Te‘i

My dream vacation is visiting California with my close friends. I say friends because traveling with family is nice, but you don’t get that same freeness that you do with friends. Also, with friends you all would have pretty similar interest in where to go. I say California because there is so much fun things to do there! Disneyland, good food places, museums, etc. We’ve all been wanting to go for awhile now. That being said, I already have an idea in my head of what it would be like, and it seems pretty amazing. –Rachelle Kozuma

Dream Family Vacation and Its Benefits Essay

Introduction.

Leisure is a very essential aspect of every individual’s life. It entails taking a break from daily activities and demands and having some fun with friends and family. Vacation is a period spent for rest and leisure-related activities such as recreation and travel, putting aside aspects of work, or any other activity that occupies our routine practices for instance studies. There are various ways through which a vacation could be spent depending on what an individual or a particular group of people deem enjoyable. Some may consider having a good time indoors while others would prefer traveling to cool entertainment places the latter option is most preferred.

Vacations go hand in hand with some spending since people tend to consider enjoying what they have not been having on normal occasions. The expenses could, for example, include traveling costs, lodging, food, and drinks as well as charges on other forms of recreation like swimming among others. This essay looks at the worth of spending on a vacation in an effort to justify expenditure with my family on the planned vocational trip.

The family vacation

I personally consider a vacation to be a healthy and important aspect to every individual irrespective of age or social status. Having been busy for most periods of the year, I have decided to spend an interesting vacation with my family (parents and siblings) for the purposes of breaking the boredom and relaxing. I have opted for a short trip, one week long, to the coastal region where entertainment facilities are adequate.

This step is driven by my belief that a family that spends time together for instance on vacations establishes strong bonding that is essential for a healthy family. Initially, I have to persuade my family members to agree on going out for the vacation since it is not an ordinary aspect and it is thus received with some form of resistance as most of them cannot clearly understand the essence of heavy spending instead of just staying at home.

According to my, the vacation is worth the spending since every person is to enjoy the trip to the maximum. Change is just like rest and the variation in family time spending will contribute a lot to each family member. The young siblings will for example have some ample time to spend together and engage in different activities that will help them appreciate each other as a result of having time to understand one another.

For our parents, the vacation will offer ample time for bonding and sharing much, in an environment that is away from home an aspect that may in one way or the other strengthen their relationship. To us, the youths, we will have an opportunity to interact with other youths and share experiences that could be beneficial for growth and development or social well being.

Vacation also benefits the family as a whole in that it makes it easier to understand one another as there is a close involvement hence allowing for the learning of what each person likes and dislikes and hence learning how to treat them in different situations to promote peace and harmony in the family. Vacation in a different place apart from home also helps individuals to be themselves and have fun because the environment is not controlled unlike when in the house, school, or work.

The vacation involving my family will help in physical and mental relaxation and reduction of stress levels that accumulate in our daily schedules at work, as well as studies for those in learning institutions and it, will also promote a healthy lifestyle that is achievable through the incorporation of work and leisure. Adventure and discovery of new places and cultural diversity is also a positive attribute that will be gained among the family members through the visit of places and meeting of new individuals. Vacation has a long-term effect on the improvement of life as it helps in refreshing one’s mind and hence enhancing an individual’s concentration and performance in different activities leading to improved productivity.

A vacation is a significant aspect that should be spent in the best way possible. It is however a concept that many individuals take lightly attaching very little importance to it. The most controversial element is the spending associated with vacations where most people do not find any justification for spending on aspects that could otherwise be avoided, to save on money for other basic activities.

This is attributed to the deterioration of the general economy which necessitates some considerable thoughts before engaging in any form of activity. All in all, I consider spending on vacation to be worthwhile as it is associated with various benefits as mentioned earlier in this essay and it only requires appropriate planning and budgeting. For this reason, I managed to persuade my family to engage in the vacation and have some time together in a relaxed mode, and the benefits we achieved surpass the spending involved to a great extent.

Essay on My Dream Vacation

My Dream Vacation

My dream vacation is a magical adventure filled with excitement, fun, and unforgettable memories.

My dream vacation destination is a tropical island paradise. Crystal-clear turquoise waters, soft sandy beaches, and palm trees swaying gently in the warm breeze. I can already feel the sun kissing my skin as I run barefoot along the shore, collecting seashells and building sandcastles.

One of the best parts of my dream vacation is staying in a cozy beachfront bungalow. It’s painted in vibrant colors and adorned with seashell decorations. From my window, I can see the breathtaking sunrise every morning, painting the sky in shades of pink, orange, and gold. And at night, I fall asleep to the soothing sound of waves crashing against the shore.

I would love to go snorkeling in the coral reefs, where I can swim alongside colorful fish and discover hidden underwater treasures. Imagine exploring a magical world beneath the sea, where every corner holds a new wonder to behold!

I would go on a thrilling adventure through the lush tropical jungle. I would zip-line through the canopy, feeling the wind rush past my face as I soar through the trees. Along the way, I might encounter playful monkeys swinging from branch to branch and exotic birds singing their sweet melodies.

Of course, no vacation would be complete without indulging in delicious food. I would feast on fresh tropical fruits like juicy mangoes, sweet pineapples, and creamy coconut. And for dinner, I would savor mouthwatering seafood dishes prepared with local ingredients and bursting with flavor.

But perhaps the most unforgettable part of my dream vacation is the opportunity to immerse myself in the local culture. I would learn traditional dances, listen to captivating stories from the elders, and make friends with the warm and welcoming people of the island. I believe that experiencing different cultures enriches our lives and broadens our perspectives.

As the sun sets on my dream vacation, I feel a sense of gratitude and contentment wash over me. It’s been an incredible journey filled with laughter, adventure, and new discoveries. And as I drift off to sleep, I know that these memories will stay with me forever, inspiring me to dream big and explore the world around me.

My dream vacation is a magical escape to a tropical island paradise, where I can immerse myself in adventure, relaxation, and cultural exploration. It’s a journey of a lifetime that I can’t wait to embark on someday soon. Until then, I’ll keep dreaming and imagining all the wonders that await me on my dream vacation.

Essay on My Dream Vacation to Countryside

A vacation to country side is essentially pleasing. The scenery of my country India are of soothing importance. My dream vacation would be to the countryside of India. I have heard much about it from my elders and also seen many movies which have been shot in the rural areas of India. The greenery and the serenity are what attract me the most about countryside. It is said that a person should always visit his or her roots at least once in a lifetime and I completely agree with this saying.

The best part about countryside is that it presents an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. A dream vacation is a trip that one has always wanted to take but hasn’t been able to yet. It’s an escape from reality and a chance to explore new places, cultures, and experiences. My dream vacation would be a backpacking trip through Europe.

I have always been fascinated by the history, art, and architecture of Europe. I want to visit cities like Rome, Paris, and Barcelona to see iconic landmarks like the Colosseum, Eiffel Tower, and Sagrada Familia. I also want to immerse myself in the local culture by trying new foods, learning some of the language, and meeting people from different backgrounds.

I want to wander through quaint villages, hike in scenic landscapes, and discover lesser-known but equally charming cities. This trip would allow me to step out of my comfort zone and challenge myself to try new things.

Apart from sightseeing and exploring, I also envision spending time relaxing on sandy beaches, sipping coffee at sidewalk cafes, and watching sunsets over picturesque landscapes. This dream vacation would be a perfect balance of adventure, culture, and leisure.

In addition to all the experiences and memories I would make, this trip would also give me a chance to learn about myself and gain a deeper understanding of the world we live in. It’s not just a vacation but an opportunity for personal growth and self-discovery.

I have wanted to go for a vacation for very long. The country for my dream vacation is Australia. Australia is a part of the continent, Oceania. It is a big country with many attractions. I am going to share with you, in this essay, what attracts me such that I want to go to Australia.

There are many physical factors in Australia. One of them is deserts. I would like to go to a desert in Australia as there are many plants and animals at the deserts. I can also experience a bit of desert life and know more about deserts after going to one myself. Another physical factor is the rock formations. There are many rock formations in Australia that are formed naturally. These rock formations make a good place to watch sunrise and

sunsets. I am sure we do not want to miss such a spectacle as it would be such a pity. Examples of such rock formations are Uluru, otherwise called Ayers Rock, which is a World Heritage Site, Kata Tjuta, also known as Mount Olga, and Devils Marbles.

The third physical factor is the ranges, which consists of mountains and hills. The ranges let us see a series of mountains together. Climbing one of the mountains is a good experience for me as I had not tried mountain climbing before. Since they are ranges, there must be nice scenery there too. I would like to go there to see the beautiful scenery. Examples are Brindabella Ranges, visible to the west of Canberra, and Flinders Ranges, the largest mountain range in South Australia. The fourth physical factor

is the reefs in Australia.

The most well known reef in Australia is the Great Barrier Reef, Australia’s greatest gift from nature. It consists of a lot of marine life and consists of over 3000 individual reef system. I would not miss this chance to see the world’s largest reef if I were to go on a vacation to Australia. The fifth physical factor, which is the last, is the rivers. The rivers provide a great place to relax for a vacation. There is marine life in the river so I can learn more about it if I go there. There is also nice scenery and an experience gained.

In Singapore, the rivers are covered at the side by railings and concrete so no such things can be seen. An example is Murray River. Here are the human factors in Australia which made me want to go there. One of them is the cities there. The cities there must be different from Singapore in terms of design. There are also different cultures there which are different from those in Singapore. There are also cities which are special, like Coober Pedy, which has its buildings underground. This makes my vacation unique and lets me experience different types of cities. The second factor is the farms. By going to the farms, I can learn more about the Australian way of life and know more about Australia through cultural exchange.

The third factor is the mines. There are mines in Australia, which is not present in Singapore. An example is the Olympic Dam in South Australia and it produces a lot of metal, 9.1 million tonnes

annually. The fourth factor is the harbors in Australia. There are not much harbors in Singapore and we might not see it often. The harbors in Singapore are also not so busy.

The harbors in Australia, like the Gladstone Harbor, are very busy due to the large shipments of materials they allow. I can have a chance to see a busy harbor with the ships in and out loading and unloading goods repeatedly and frequently. This is not very easily seen in Singapore. The fifth factor is the roads in Australia. The roads in Australia are bound to have differences from Singapore, in terms of how the symbols are drawn and how the lanes are planned.

I would like to go to Australia to see and identify the difference between their roads and our roads here in Singapore. I can also find out due to the difference in design, which way of building the road is more efficient or are they about the same. I am interested to go to Australia for a vacation due to these reasons, and I hope that you will feel the same too. Who does not like beautiful scenery?

There are many nice types of scenery there and some of the examples of the factors are given. We can learn while having fun there so I hope you will choose Australia as a place for your next vacation.
